Customer Reviews

"We stopped here on the way through with my dad. Delicious food, even the coffee was great! I had the hot roast beef, it was open faced sandwich with real homemade mashed potatoes and gravy. My dad had a mushroom Swiss burger I think it was called the woodsman, he had been wanting this kind of burger for a while finally found a place that had it on the menu. He was happy, said it was really good, he got regular fries with it. We were happy and the price was reasonable. $26.46 before tip."

"We enjoyed it. The waitress was working all the tables alone and did excellently. The crowd was mostly fellas coming in for late breakfast or lunch. There was a table in the corner of pretty ladies, chatty, who seemed happy to be there. I had a really yummy chef salad and cup of chili. Both things I would order again. The chef salad had real ham and turkey breast, not lunch meat. The ranch dressing was the kind everybody likes. Their lemonade was good, too. The place is clean, the restrooms clean, too. There's a huge collection of lunch boxes lined up on shelves near the ceiling, really cute and clever. The people all seemed friendly. Plenty of parking and good menu item selections."

"We travel past here very often and finally had the opportunity to stop. We were not disappointed! Very nicely decorated dining room and the food was great. The hot beef sandwich was amazing. Thick cut real roast beef (not deli slices) and delicious potatoes and gravy. Eggs, sausage and toast meal was well prepared and the homemade jam was fantastic! Service was friendly and prompt. Definitely recommend."

"We've ate here multiple times. Today the breakfast I got was top notch. By far the best meal I've had here. We typically stop here and it's great. We've had a lot of different menu items. And so far each time we've been here it's been better than the last. We will be back to try more thanks!!"

"Really really nice little place. Very very clean bathrooms and the atmosphere is perfect for up north. Knotty pine walls and adorable vintage lunch boxes all around. Pancakes for three ginormous pancakes that were bigger than my daughter's head! Biscuits and gravy tasted about as good as you would expect from any restaurant. Service with a smile and just an overall great experience. Prices are right in the middle. We will definitely be back!"

"Delicious food!! The service was great. The food came out so fast and was so good. Cost is very reasonable. And the best part was the Cook in the back singing to oldies on the radio. It made for such a happy feeling and a great experience. We will be back."
